Welcome To The RAPHA Journey

Hello and Welcome to Rapha. I am so excited that you have decided to stop by and find out more about us. We are just starting out on this journey and as of today January 20th, 2023 have only been a full 8 months and in the middle of our 9th! It has been a crazy faith led ride thus far but I wouldn't change a thing. The people I have met, the vendors who have become family, the business neighbors who are some of my closest friends, the community who have so hugely supported us , is making this special journey more incredible everyday!

God takes us on special adventures doesn't He? Especially if we are willing to jump! Jumping isn't easy when you don't know what you are falling in or on, but when you know God, truly know him, the jumping becomes more and more just about trust!

Rapha was just such a jump for me. I often explain it to people as I just jumped out of the boat, like Simon Peter did, trusting God would catch me, and He has , beyond my wildest expectations. He has asked me to jump several times in my life and they were not always easy landings. Some were bumpy and full of cuts and bruises. Some led me to places and people where I found myself hurt and betrayed. But when God leads you somewhere and asks you to jump, you can know He will catch you every time.

Rapha was never on my radar, and in fact I thought I would be back in California by now, but God had bigger and better plans for me. Plans I could have never imagined!

I want to tell you that if You you feel a little lost and confused right now, just know I was right there not too long ago. I wasn't sure I was even hearing God anymore. But let me assure you, He heard me. He was listening to my every prayer, and He saw my every tear, but He had better answers than what I thought I needed. Don't get discouraged or give up on a dream, a hope or a vision God has given you, because it may look completely different than what you thought it would, and could turn out better than your wildest dreams.

As you follow along on Raphas journey may you be inspired, challenged and filled with hope that what God has for you to do is to make a difference in so many others lives. It isn't just about us. The gifts and talents that we have been given are to be shared with the world, to bring hope and peace and love. We are to make people feel like they really are valuable and they matter. That they have purpose and destiny, and most importantly that God loves them right where they are! As people walk by Rapha everyday I want them to know that we are a house that welcomes them in. It's a place where they can come to find rest.

What area in your life does God want you to jump?

Take a leap fo faith my friend, but hold on really tight because I promise you where you land will not always be smooth, Some may not understand your journey! Others will question if you are crazy haha! But stay true to what God's told you! Stay in faith and believe in yourself! You are smarter, and wiser, and more beautiful than you can imagine to the One who created YOU! And You have a journey that will inspire and challenge others as well! Love YOU!
